Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of tours by Naturaliste Charters 

Our guest’s safety and comfort is always our priority. We constantly monitor sea conditions along the coastline and respond professionally to any changes. This may mean:

 

Cancellation of a Tour

Restrictions may be placed on passengers with medical or mobility problems. The child age limit may be raised. A full refund will apply to tours cancelled due to inclement weather, a tour where minimum passenger numbers have not been met or any other safety reason if it cannot be rebooked to the customer’s satisfaction.

 

Cancellations by guests (Not Covid Related)

Cancellations by guests will incur a minimum 20% fee. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to departure incur a 50% fee. Cancellations 7 days or less of departure, no refund applies. If you need to change your booking please contact the office directly on (08) 9750 5500. All booking changes incur a 20% rebooking fee.

Cancellation Policy for Covid-19 (For bookings made prior to 22 December 2021)

If you book an expedition and are unable to travel due to official Government Restrictions put in place because of Covid-19 you will be entitled to reschedule your expedition to a later date, or if you wish you can cancel the booking with the entitlement to a full refund. We encourage you to book with our 25% deposit payment option, the remainder of the payment can be made closer to your expedition date. If you are cancelling due to any other reason our normal cancellation policy will apply.

Cancellation Policy for Covid-19 (For bookings made 22 December 2021 and after)

The customer shall comply with all Government (Federal and State) COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirements for entry into Western Australia or to access the operator’s premises, event or service. Where the customer does not meet a vaccination or testing requirement:

(a) prior to departure from the customer’s home location, the customer will forfeit any and all monies paid; or

(b) for entry to the event or venue or access to the service, the customer will not be granted entry and will forfeit any and all monies paid.

Where the customer cancels due to government travel restrictions other than vaccination or testing requirements, the customer will be able to request a refund or reschedule the booking for a later date. If you wish to receive a refund please note there will be a $50 fee per person to cover administrative expenses and other losses.
